of medieval society - e.g., mapping, art & architecture, astronomy, law
& politics - as well as suggestions for supplementary readings, projects
and relevant activities.

2-6) by Frances Kandl: First in a series of sight-singing and
ear-training manuals, with a set of worksheets, based on the Kodaly
method of musicianship training for young children, designed to teach
fundamental rhythmic, melodic and sight-singing skills, pitch and
interval recognition, and music notation.
- Kidshows: Learning Through Play-Acting
(grades K-5) by Laura Wolff: A collection of short plays,
especially written for elementary grades one through six, offering fun
versions of folk tales, historical events, holidays or popular social
topics suitable for these age groups and offering a large cast of
characters to accommodate a typical grade-school class.
